I was nervous before the BCS National Championship game, but after the first few drives and seeing that the Longhorns were getting some breaks go their way, I was optimistic that Colt McCoy could handle the Alabama defense. Yet, the second McCoy went out and I saw what the substitute quarterback was capable of I knew this was a hopeless cause.
As long as McCoy is out, I have no hope this will end well. Let's hope he comes back for the second half.
Ray of Sunshine Update: Texas is showing their grit and giving me just a little confidence they can pull this one out. It is now up to the defense to get a stop and then the offense needs to get three points to tie or a touchdown for the win.
